The Sycamore Technology Academics and Recruitment Scholarship (STARS) is a competitive award funded by the National Science Foundation for academically talented, but financially disadvantaged students majoring in Computer Engineering Technology or Mechanical Engineering Technology at Indiana State University. The award amount is $5,000 for the first year, and is renewable. Females and minorities are particularly encouraged to apply.
Minimum eligibility criteria:
• United States citizen or permanent resident
• Full-time student in Computer Engineering Technology or Mechanical Engineering Technology
• 2.8 or above grade point average
• Demonstrated financial need of at least $5,000
