Alliance of Technology and Women (ATW)

Goals:
EDUCATE: ATW will educate members on technology and management trends, and offer personal and professional development.

Anita Borg Institute for Women and Technology (ABI)

The Anita Borg Institute for Women and Technology (ABI) was founded in 1997 by renowned computer scientist Anita Borg, Ph.D. (1949-2003). Initially known as the Institute for Women in Technology, IWT was renamed in 2003 to the Anita Borg Institute in order to honor Dr. Borg.  Through their everyday work, the Anita Borg Institute seeks to increase the impact of women on all aspects of technology, and increase positive impact of technology on the world’s women.

Females in Information Technology and Telecommunications (FITT)

Females in Information Technology and Telecommunications [FITT] is a not-for-profit network established in 1989 that encourages and supports women in the Information and Communications Technology (ICT) industry. FITT holds events and activities throughout the year to support, encourage and inspire women in the Australian ICT industry including:
Networking – Breakfast, lunch or evening events in Sydney with stimulating speakers and opportunities to keep up to date and network with other people in the ICT industry.
Mentoring – events and strategies to help women reach their potential and influence the direction of the ICT industry.
Skills Development Workshops – practical workshops to increase women’s career opportunities.
School Education – speakers for career events and other educational activities to encourage more females to join   the industry.

National Girls Collaborative Project (NGCP)

NGCP is an organization that brings together other organizations throughout the United States and Puerto Rico that are committed to informing and encouraging girls to pursue careers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM).
Goals:
-Maximize access to shared resources within projects and with public and private sector organizations and institutions interested in expanding girls participation in STEM>
-Strengthen capacity of existing and evolving projects by sharing promising practice research and program modes, outcomes, and products.
-Use the leverage of a network or collaboration of individual girl-serving STEM programs to create the tipping point for gender equity in STEM.


Society of Women Engineers (SWE)

The Women in Technology Project is funded in part through grants from the U.S. Department's of Labor, Agriculture and Education. It is the first workforce development project of its kind to encourage girls, women and underrepresented groups into science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) education and careers.  The Project is administered by the Maui Economic Development Board, Inc., with offices at the Maui Research and Technology Center in Kihei, Maui, Hawaii.
